The Tiny Tea teatox is a somewhat popular detox tea from Your Tea which I on my journey to find the best of the best have had the pleasure to try.
So here is my brief review of the Tiny Tea:
Your Tea’s Tiny Tea Teatox Review
My overall impression of the Tiny Tea is that it is alright. It’s not bad, but it’s definitely not up there with my #1 favorite among detox teas.
Its claimed benefits are the usual ones for detox teas such as reducing bloating, help burn fat, make your skin clearer and just balance ut your body in general. Nothing out of the ordinary here, since those are things good detox teas should do.
I did the 28 day teatox and the instruction with it are to drink 2-3 cups of tea pet day, preferably before meals. Tiny Tea does not include any laxative ingredients (many detox teas do) and this can be both a good and a bad thing.
You see, when you start your teatox chances are you have a lot of toxins inside that you want to get rid of. The main way for your body to expel toxins is through feces. So although it’s convenient not to have to go to the bathroom as much, it may slow down your detox progress, since not removing the toxins quickly can allow for them to be reabsorbed through the intestine walls, entering your body once more.
That’s why I am a big fan of simultaneously cleansing your intestinal system when you haven’t detoxed in a long time and decide to start teatoxing.
The taste is very herbal, if that makes sense. Includes ingredients such as Adzuki Bean, Prunella, Lotus Leaf, Camellia Sinensis, Catsia, Barley and more. Healthy stuff. I have grown accustomed to the taste of herbal teas so I like it, but some people may want to sweeten it with some honey or other healthy natural sweetener (avoid sugar in your tea please, especially if it’s weight loss you’re after!).
As a healthy tea, Tiny Tea is great, but healthy teas you can get in most grocery stores as well. As a detox tea and to get the many benefits of such teas, I think there are better options (I prefer the KouTea).
Tiny Tea is also pretty expensive, the 28-day costing $55. Not the best value for your money considering the effects aren’t that impressive when compared to other teas that at the same time cost less.
